Taking back control of the narrative

We live in a country where controlling who gets to be represented has been part of our national narrative for centuries. Parents & teachers of young children today understand that taking back control of that narrative is one of the first tangible steps to making our diverse nation more inclusive.

When it comes to children, the importance of inclusivity and equal and accurate representation comes down to belonging. When children grow up in a world where they don’t see people like themselves reflected, they feel invisible & insignificant.
